As part of the general business to be conducted at the meeting, Members will vote on the slate of candidates for the Chapter's Officers and two openings on the Chapter's Board of Directors. The Chapter's by-laws provide that the Officers will hold one year terms. The two Members of the Board have terms expiring in 2013.
Under our bylaws, the Chapter's Officers shall be chosen from a slate of candidates presented by the Nominating Committee or nominated from the floor and elected by vote of the membership at the annual meeting by written secret ballot.
The Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the slate of candidates to fill these open positions for our Chapter. The slate of Officers for 2013 is Pete Esser - President; Don Pluemer - VP, Todd Templen - Sec, Bill Wisler Treasurer.
Candidates for the two Board of Directors openings are Steve Carpenter, Boyd Gibbons, Chuck Steudel and Gordon Grieshaber. Under our Chapter's by-laws, the members of the Board of Directors will be elected by a direct vote of the members at the annual meeting. Since we are fortunate to have more candidates than openings, we will hold two votes with the leading candidate to fill the first and then the second opening on the Board.
We look forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting. We greatly appreciate the candidates' interest to continue the strong leadership tradition our Chapter has enjoyed.

New Posting - 1-24-2010 Harry & Laura Nohr Chapter 2010 Board Elections Our Chapter elects new Board members at the Annual Meeting in March of each year. This year will be no different. The Nominating Committee is seeking interested Members who would like to fill two open board positions. Each has a three year term and will run to 2013. We encourage Members to consider these opportunities. There are few Trout Unlimited Chapters that come near to the Nohr Chapter's legacy built by the dedication and creativity of our Members. We hope you will want to be part of the future too. There is no prior experience required and we especially welcome Members who have not been on the Board but would like to find an opportunity to do so. Chapter by-laws also state that the President will serve for one year. The President is allowed to serve a second term, if she or he so desires. Jeff Ware our current President has decided to step down after his term ends to create an opportunity for others to participate on the Board. We sincerely appreciate Jeff's many contributions during the last year. But as a result, the Nominating Committee is also accepting candidates to serve as our Chapter's President. If you are interested in any of these opportunities or simply have questions, please contact anyone on the Nominating Committee. We look forward to hearing from you!
