2006 was an extraordinary year for the Harry and Laura Nohr Chapter of Trout Unlimited. We followed winning the 2005 Wisconsin Chapter of the Year Award with the 2006 Wisconsin DNR Partner Award and 2006 National Chapter of the Year Award.
Local support has allowed our School Grant Program to award $30,000 to area schools in the past 10 years and fund the Scott Ladd Scholarship to an exceptional student at UW-Platteville working towards an environmental career.
The Blue River Projects are making Southwest Wisconsin a national vacation destination; fueling economic development and tourism in the area.
